Karen has been unemployed for many months. I was surprised when she told me she lost her job. It was not her first time. She got dismissed several times in fact. Karen comes across as a very strong, steady and sharp lady, who articulates very well, and is a mid-level manager. Why would someone of such caliber not hold her fort, one may wonder!
Karen consulted me and started tearing. I appreciated her for being courageous, allowing herself to be vulnerable to share openly over her dismissal stories. It is often not easy for one to put our pride down and acknowledge the difficulty and issues we are facing. This is more so for Asians where ‘face value’ is quite important.
She felt helpless as she had no idea why she was not able to keep her jobs, and when will she get a proper job. She has not been lucky after going for several interviews over this period. She also started pouring out issues about her father. I listened.
I used numerology to help her along with guided intuition. I told her there is too much negative beatings that she get from her father, which is not supportive for her at this point. Her wings are clipped.
Few days later, Karen called me up and told me that my intuitive guidance came true. She was going to shift. Her dad gave her 2 weeks to pack and leave the house! Wow, not quite the way I expected how it would turn out! Jobless and homeless in 2 weeks time if nothing turn around for her.
I went through her numerology profile, identified key aspects, and coached her through this period.
Unemployment
It was critical of her to take this time to pause, slow down and interiorize.
Unemployment or in a rest period happens for a reason. It is a time to interiorize, and validate our inner work. Work allows us to manifest our innate creative potential, our gifts and talents given to us. Work also reflects our state. For example, one who may be over confidence, forcing destiny. One who is subjugated, who submits and let himself be abused or exploited through work. One who may be working just for proving our capacity to work and for recognition. The list goes on.
I gave her some homework to do to understand her repeated pattern of getting into disagreements with her bosses one after another. It took a while and soon to find out how she replays the same scenes as how she would with her own dad when it comes to disagreement. Whenever her father does not acknowledge what she believes is right, she would be defiant, ‘drop everything she is at’ and that worsens the situation. After giving her steps on how she could look deeper, we are glad that this came up.
Karen needs to work on cleansing these past memories and such behavior such that it would not play up at work. Just like someone in a depression recovery stage, the relapse would take a much longer time.
Connect back to self
Karen is very fast paced, never quite stop and is always moving. To get her to pause and do the innerwork took quite a while. I had to guide her on how she could practice connecting back to self, examples of her being too emissive, and that stops her from being receptive. Her being receptive, would mean the ability to be still, and receive clear messages from her higher self, her prayers, her own guidance from Up above.
“Muddy water, let stand, becomes clear.”
― Lao Tzu
When someone is too emissive, there is too much noise, and we cannot receive guidance clearly! Some of us can be so disconnected, purely focused on material needs and keeps chasing after time. We have to be careful for when we do not take time to reflect and miss the signs Up above want us to take note, we may potentially fall sick or even get into a possible accident on worse case scenario. ‘RED LIGHT’ stop sign is clear now, just so we have no choice but to stop everything and have all the time to reflect and contemplate (Since we are freed up from rushing).
Personal Independence
Karen has a karmic debt on her chart and it is normally shows up between late twenties up to our forties. She has to master personal independence which would mean from material to emotional to spiritual independence. It is also about using her powers properly. Having irregular income to being unemployed is where she needs to master financial independence. Her sour relationship with her dad, and at the same time being caught in between her mom is emotionally draining. Due to unstable income, she does not have the means to move out. Her inability to have emotional independence and freedom trapped are parts of the karmic debt’s effect.
I had Karen to work on her mindset shift. I needed to have her get back to a more positive state to create a new shift. Light attract light. If she is negative, she will continue to manifest her worries. Having low and negative energies would also block out the possibilities of getting through her job interviews.
2 weeks gone by…
We spent 2 weeks on this together. One day, I got a text. Karen told me she got through her job interview and got a job! Concurrently, applying the mindset shift techniques, she found a place she really liked and the landlord was very kind to keep the place for her! She shared that more and more amazing staff seems to be happening for her. Good news is this shift can happen quite fast when we wholely believe in it! She got a job and new place all around the same time!
I could see how her energy has shifted together with the innerwork she was working on. Taught her the importance of forgiveness and did work on that too. Indeed a brand new beginning for her!
While she still has areas to work on which would take time, I congratulate her for putting in the effort to do the work. Now I am excited to see how she can spread her wings and progress forward a step at a time.
I like to often end off looking at what we can possibly learn from each story:
-
Our subconscious mind is a powerful thing. It projects out our thoughts and what we attract into our life.
-
We need to give ourselves time to pause, reflect and interiorize. That actually gives us strength instead of running off like a headless chicken chasing for time in different directions.
-
It is more powerful to be the charcoal burning strong, than the flame of a fire.
What can you learn from this here? Love to hear from you too.
